Masala Paratha


Wheat Flour - 1 cup
Onion - 1 small (chopped very finely)
Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
Green Chillies - 1 (chopped very finely)
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste


  • In a bowl mix in the wheat flour, chopped onions, chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt.
  • Add water to this mix and knead into a fine dough (that of chapathi consistency). 
  • Add a little bit of oil and keep aside the dough for a few minutes. 
  • Make medium sized balls out of the dough mix that has been prepared. Flatten out each dough ball and roast on a tawa by adding ghee on either sides.
